The barge LAFAYETTE was originally build in 1958 as a cargo ship. In 1988 the ship was converted into a passenger’s ship and in 2009 again updated to today's standard of comfort. The barge has got a spacious lounge and bar area with comfortable sofas and arm chairs. The whole ship is airconditioned and is decorated in a tasteful way. From the dining area you enter the sundeck at the front of the ship. Here you can take a seat under a large canopy, or enjoy the fresh air on the open deck
The LAFAYETTE offers 12 cabins, all with airconditioning, level beds and shower/toilet ensuite. From the 10 two person cabins, 4 have a double bed and 6 have twin beds. There are also 2 single cabins with all facilities. Internet access is available aboard.
